The idea of the F words was originated by Dr. Peter Rosenbaum and Dr. Jan Willem Gorter of the CanChild research center and identifies 6 key factors that can help us as therapists as we strive to use a holistic approach that focuses on the most significant factors of child development.  These factors include: Fitness, Functioning, Friends, Family, Fun, and Future.

Using the F words as the foundation, this course shows OTs and PTs how to identify the strength of the evidence they use to support their practice using the Traffic Light System.  The course describes highly rated evidence-based interventions, showing how they relate to the F words.
